With over 25 years of specialized experience in real estate acquisition, development, and construction, Kim serves as Co-President and Chief Development Officer, where she focuses on transforming suburban and urban environments into vibrant, sustainable communities. She leads the firm’s entitlement and construction activities, specializing in complex projects that require a high degree of collaboration with city officials, neighborhoods, and regional stakeholders.
Kim currently directs a pipeline exceeding $1 billion in development value, encompassing mixed-use, townhome, land development, and multi-family projects ranging from 25 lot plats to over 600 unit multifamily developments. Her approach is rooted in the belief that successful development is built on partnership; over the past fourteen years at MainStreet, she has successfully navigated the entitlement and delivery of more than 2,500 units across Seattle and the Eastside. By fostering transparent relationships with local municipalities and working with proven consultant teams, Kim ensures that every project aligns with the unique character and long-term goals of the communities it serves.
A Puget Sound Business Journal “40 Under 40” honoree, Kim brings a deep sense of local stewardship to her work. As a native Eastsider and former Division I basketball player for Santa Clara University, she applies the same team-first mentality to her leadership on the Santa Clara University Real Estate Advisory Board, NAIOP, and One Redmond Government Affairs Committees, and her daily interactions with project stakeholders.
Kim and her family live in Kirkland, where they enjoy playing sports and traveling.
