Rob is President of GenCap Construction Corp, with overall responsibility for the business and the success of each project. Rob graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. degree in Construction Management and is a certified DBIA Professional. Rob serves as Chair for the University of Washington Construction Industry Advisory Council and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington. Rob served as a Board member of DBIA NW Chapter and was an elected member of the Project Review Committee which serves under the CPARB state of Washington legislature to ensure that alternative project delivery applications meet the intent of statute RCW 39.10.
During his 27-year tenure in construction, Rob has served in various leadership positions such as Chief Estimator, Project Executive and Director of Design Phase Operations. Rob has professionally spoken on Progressive Design-Build and GCCM alternative project delivery, Lean Practices and Integrated Project Delivery at AIA, DBIA, University of Washington, Washington State University and Society of American Military Engineers. Several of Rob’s projects have received national awards from DBIA.
